Elderflower & Lemon Round Cake

This 9" round cake is made with two layers of elderflower and lemon sponge, handmade lemon curd, elderflower buttercream, and a delicious lemon glaze icing. It's fresh, zesty flavour is perfect for afternoon tea, making it the perfect delectable treat!

Sugar, wheat flour (wheat flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin), sugar, salted butter, free range eggs, elderflower cordial (sugar, water, elderflowers, pressed lemon juice, citric acid), baking powder (potassium & sodium diphosphates, sodium bicarbonate), lemon juice, lemon zest.

Once the cake has been opened and cut into it should ideally be eaten within 2-4 days as it will unfortunately start to dry out.  

I can be covered and stored in the refrigerator but should be brought up to room temperature before eating. If possible, protect the cut surfaces with cling film or baking parchment.

I can also be frozen for up to 1 month if you can't eat me all at once.
