About Beau's Bakehouse
Beau’s Bakehouse is a small bakery based in Frampton-on-Severn, near Stroud. We make cakes & other bakes to sell through local shops, farmers markets & cafés.
We believe in using the best possible ingredients to make the best tasting cakes. All products are made with English butter, Shipton Mill flour, free range eggs (from Wittantree Farm), Belgian chocolate and all natural ingredients. Because we believe in getting our cakes to you when they are as fresh as possible they contain no preservatives or artificial additives…they are naturally delicious.
The ingredients are locally sourced where possible and all of the cost is in the product, not the packaging.
A passion for baking
Beau’s Bakehouse was created to bring my passion for baking to life. I am a Food Technologist with twenty years experience in the food & drink industry. It started off with just me (Jacqui Cowper-Smith) in 2009 and now we are a team of 6 fantastic people hand baking and packing cakes and slices every day.
Beau was my grandmother and she had a passion for baking too. She owned her own ‘Cake Kitchen’ in the 1920’s in New Zealand where I grew up – I’m hoping a little bit of her has rubbed off onto me!
Our products are made from recipes that I have been collecting ever since I was a child. I also have an extensive collection of recipe books which I use for inspiration.
